Welcome to the Chicago/Northern Illinois and Downstate Chapter site for the National French Contest 2017.

​Here you will find all the information you'll need in order to participate in Le Grand Concours 2017, whether it be at the elementary school level grades 1-6 (FLES) or at the middle and/or high school levels (01-5).

 

This year's testing for FLES will take place from February 12-25, 2017.  For middle and high schools, it will be your choice of dates any time between February 25 and March 24, 2017.  

These dates are only for Illinois; other chapters around the country may be testing at different times within the guidelines set forth by National.

This year your students will be able to do on-line testing or, if you prefer, you can sign them up for the traditional paper and pencil format.  For more information, click on the testing format tab above.
